JobLink Employment Services Mission:

To assist individuals in mapping out a career plan and pointing them in the correct direction to becoming qualified for prospective employment opportunities.

We make every effort to match our clients with potential employers for job placement.

Located at Randolph Community College in Asheboro the Randolph County JobLink Career Center provides all visitors with the opportunity to use a first class resource room to assist them in their employment or training endeavors. JobLink offers a variety of services including employment listings, job search tools and strategies, resume assistance, application review, interview tips, labor market information, interest surveys, videos, career planning, training and financial aid advice, as well as beneficial referrals to other agencies when a need has been determined.

The center is designed to be a self directed staff assisted facility, thus allowing you the job seeker or job researcher the opportunity to conduct your searches at your own pace. If any questions arise, staff members are only a step away.

If you are an individual who is currently unemployed the Center offers free computer and job search classes through its Human Resources Development program. These are designed to assist you in being able to conduct a more effective job search in today’s market.

*Representatives are available from the Department of Social Services, Employment Security Commission, Randolph Community College, Regional Consolidated Services and Vocational Rehabilitation.

With many visitors to the JobLink currently continuing or having completed educational training in diverse fields, qualified placement is here. JobLink serves the entire job seeking community, resulting in a pool of various skilled applicants in all areas of employment. The center offers one-on-one job search assistance to all visitors in an effort to match their individual abilities with your needs as an employer. JobLink strives to assure that all respective employers are only contacted by individuals qualified to meet the job description set by the hiring professional.

On-the–Job Training Programs under Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding can offer employers the opportunity to avoid expensive training periods for up to 3 months when hiring new employees.

JobLink advertises your job openings free of charge in a variety of ways to try and achieve placement.
